We officially opened our doors to the music world of Indonesia, under the name "WIJAYA MUSIK" in 1973, but this family owned business has roots in Indonesia from as early as 1927, when the family re-located to Singapore, and then Indonesia from northern India. The first business venture since arriving in Indonesia, was under the name of AGA SPORTS, now re-named GARUDA SPORTS, situated at Pasar Baru #2, Jakarta, Indonesia.

In those days, long before the 2nd world war, business was such that to survive in the business world, one had to offer for sale the widest possible variety of merchandise. It was to this end, that this fine family business sold everything from buttons & needles to double bass for string orchestras.

Since specializing in the music business since 1991, WIJAYA MUSIK  has grown from strength to strength, and today it has evolved into Indonesia's largest importers and distributors of musical instruments, dealing in the best known brands from all over the world.

WIJAYA MUSIK main store in Pasar Baru, is supplemented by two branch outlets, plus a comprehensive list of vendor/dealers nationwide, who carry our merchandise, purchased from our distributing center, situated at Pasar Baru Selatan #15.
